I wouldn’t really count on those back links bringing any search engine value, but they might at least help the readers of the scraper blog know who the real person behind the article is.

Hi Marko,
Good insights. I need to go back and work on some of my older posts and this was a good reminder. I’ve been more focused on linking newer posts back to older ones.

Do you think that having more internal links in a post helps in dealing with Scrapers grabbing an entire post verbatim and posting it on another site? At the least you may get some backlinks from the Scraper site?

The internal linking is important and very useful:
- For me, it is very useful in writing the article that has inter relatiom with my previous and older one.By this system I can do my writing faster.
- For the visitor, it would make them convenience to read my article, it will be easier for them to relate it with detailed or related data in all of my article.
- All previous and older post discovered by visitors will be indexed by my SEO.

Agreed. Internal links ensures that your website gets properly indexed and that all pages are found by the search engines. It also builds the relevancy of a page to a keyword phrase and enables users to navigate freely and effortlessly through your site finding the information they are interested in. Given these benefits this technique is worth a try. I have just realized its benefits lately and I guess it’s not yet too late to for me.

Linking to internally blog posts is important. It a hard lesson learned. I started doing so a months ago and page views has increased.

good topic, everytime when there are related keyword to older post, i will make sure I link it, and sometime I even link it to outer source.. so my reader can get more information..

It’s definitely better as you will have links back to your blog so even if someone is reading that scraper site has a larger chance of finding out that you are the author.

Thanks Marko, I installed it and will play around with it a little! And I guess inserting the links from older posts to new ones will have to wait til the weekend!
