Meeting with, getting to know and discussing different subjects with other bloggers is a nice way to get motivated to improve your blog and take it to another level. I am one of the organizers of one of the blog meetup events for London bloggers, the London Blog Club.
Our first ever London Blog Club meetup was on February 2nd and 12 London bloggers showed up. It was a very informal meeting where London bloggers were able to get to know each other and where everyone got a chance to speak a bit about their experience and dreams.
London Blog Club – blogging goals and tasks
We ended up agreeing that in case that you want to improve your blog, you must set some short-term blogging goals, some task that you will do and you must follow them consistently. A task was given that everyone must make some blogging goals and work on them during the time until the next London Blog Club meetup, which is on 10th March.
Some of the blogging goals were to write a certain amount of posts per week consistently for 4 weeks, one of the other goals was to write a certain amount of guest posts to promote your own blog, and another blogging goal was to get in touch with 10 or more new people from your target group daily and that way increase your influence and readership.
The deal for our next London Blog Club meetup is to check up on the progress of people and their blogging goals, see what has been done since the last meetup, what results have been achieved and what lessons have been learned. Will be interesting to hear…

Interesting. I’d also like to have something like this in our corner of the world. Just sharing, we have a quarterly web designer’s conference in our city. I’d most probably suggest this type of event to them. Thanks!

Im trying to keep up with 2-3 post per week on several blogs. I belive the most important is to blog about something new, unique and interesting

What a simple and great idea! How did you form the club? Did you take an ad out in the newspaper? Or just from blog readers?

Lucky Londoners! Blogging is a lonesome job. Thinks: maybe we could do something similar here in Wellington, New Zealand.
Pls i am new in this blogging of a thing. I have created a lot of blogsite with blogger and have activated my adsense but i dont know how to create traffic and make money. i would be glad if someone out there could help me. I am a fast learner, i think i can learn through lectures by mail. Thank you and God bless you for giving me audience.
actually i don’t know so much about internet, about blogging , about my thoughts, even about me. cause i am too absent minded. sometimes i think that i will write about this topic about that topic but i just forget that. but i thought i will write blog by anyway.i am just starting and too confused. can i be assisted in this matter??
