Although I was not contacted directly by the company that wants its ads on my website I find that what happened to me is proof that smaller blogs can attract direct advertisers. Creating a kind of media kit was exactly what I figured that I must do, because the advertising agency wanted to know my ad rates. It is definitely a good idea to have all this stuff figured out before you are contacted by some potential advertisers!
