As mentioned, blog plugins can extend your WordPress blog and your blog theme to do almost anything you can imagine.
We will now look at the most important WordPress blog plugins for you to install, in relation to the search engine optimization (SEO). It is very important to optimize your blog for search engines, as that will help you rank higher on your blog related keywords and should bring a lot of organic search engine traffic to your blog.
All In One SEO plugin – This plugin is streamlined for some best practices for WordPress SEO. It makes it easy to take care of the most important on-page ranking factors like META Title, Description and Keywords tags.
Google XML Sitemap Generator plugin – This plugin generates a XML-Sitemap compliant sitemap of your WordPress blog in format that is supported by Ask.com, Google, Yahoo and MSN Search. Having a sitemap is another very important part of letting the search engines have easier time finding and indexing your blog content.
MaxBlogPress Ping Optimizer plugin – This plugin will automatically ping the Internet services when you publish new blog posts. Ping is an XML-RPC-based push mechanism by which a weblog notifies a server that its content has been updated. An XML-RPC signal is sent to one or more “ping servers,” which can then generate a list of blogs that have new material. This helps you automatically notify the search engines on the new content on your blog.

I like your site and the “how to” information. I’ve already installed or implemented many or your suggestions. I’ve been running the All In One SEO and Google XML Sitemap Generator with great success.
Now that I’ve spent a month setting up, designing and watching Google index my site, it is time to start aggressively filling my blog with the content I promised my readers from day one.
Thanks for publishing a nice, basic “how to.” I’m sure many will benefit.
