I got a guest/regular spot on a Blog, posted my first article and the site was hacked and has not reappeared. Sometimes life just sucks.

I second the bit about responding to contacts. If you don’t reply you will be telling the other person you have no interest in them (and probably anyone other than yourself). A reply of “No, Sorry” is better than no response every time.

What you need to be is a journalist with a brain. Well probably im not getting very popular in writing this, but these days most journalists don’t know shit about the topic they are writing about.

In 2009 information is accessible for all people with the skills, and therefore the demands to hit the big times with a post have grown exponentially.
